Robert's servise started in Sullivan Co, NC(later TN). His 1 Apr 1834 pension application was in Hawkins Co, TN where he said he was born 29 Feb 1759 in Bucks Co, PA and he died before the 1860 census in Roane Co, TN.
Robert's son Benjamin's daughter Margaret Peggy" Hensley married William Giles in Roane Co, TN in 1835.
My wife's Hensley line is from Robert Hensley.

ERROR
An error in the pension transcription was pointed out to me by Lucinda Copeland.
The transcription reads 29 July1759 and should read 29 February 1759
