Returning to this wonderf...

Gerre Byrd - May 22, 2010

Returning to this wonderful site. Thank you for putting up with me. I've spent too much time looking for the line of Jeremiah BURTON of Rabun Co., GA. It's this line that connected me with the HALL line. Effie Mariah HALL m: Virgil Anderson BURTON in Klaus Indian Territory, OK in 1896 In fact, someone on this site may have some surnames in common with my HALL - BURTON connections.

Notes from Morganton NC, Public Library

Toxey Hall - Jul 6, 2010

I spent May 17 and 18, 2010 in Morganton, NC. A primary purpose of the trip was to take compass bearings on the tops of Hall Knob and Whites Knob, South of Morganton on US-64 near Roper Hollow Road, for the puropse of identifying and photographing these two mountains. The weather was totally awful, and I spent both days in the Genealogy Room at the Morganton Public Library. During these two days I took notes from all easily identifiable sources on applicable Halls, Whites and Lusks. A transcript of these notes is in my File Cabinet.

Donald Godfrey - Jul 15, 2010

Hi everyone,
Cousin Brenda Brown tells me that Aunt Dovis will be 90 years old this Saturday.
Brenda says she is down to 85 lbs and failing fast.
Please pray for her and her family.
It would be nice if everyone were to send her a Happy Birthday email through Brenda's address:
BDBROWN7521@aol.com
Thanks,
Don Godfrey

Good news

Debbie Hall Daugherty - Sep 29, 2010

I am so excited I just have to share. I received a call today from the registrar at my DAR chapter and she stated my supplement I submitted about six months ago on John Hall was accepted. A number will be assigned in October. Without the help of June Juquish, Walter Hall and others, I would have never gotten this far.

Others have joined or submitted on Joshua Hall and John's siblings but not on John.

Thanks to everyone who has put so much time and research into our Hall family.
