This is John Hall and his wife Elizabeth tombstones. The family cemetery in Springfield about 6 miles from Eutaw cannot be seen from the road because of the dense growth that has covered them over the years.
I photographed these during the middle of the day so you can see how dark it is in the thicket where the tombstones are.

Is this the same John Hall that this site is named for? Squire John Hall? or is this like a grandson to him? I noticed several John's and Elizabeth's so I wasn't sure. I noticed that the dates seem to differ from what is listed on the family tree submitted by Donald.

This is the John Hall (1795-1870)

This is the John Hall (1795-1870) who came with his dad from NC to TN. After his dad died he moved to the Eutaw area with his wife Elizabeth Anderson. After she died in I believe in 1834 he married Elizabeth Moore (1805-1875).

This John is a grandson of Squire John Hall and Elizabeth Williamson and son of John Hall and Susanna White.
