My wife, Doris Godfrey fell and broke her hip.
While In the hospital emergency room, she developed pneumonia and when she got to the ward, they couldn't control it, so the put her in ICU on a ventilator with a large tube through her mouth into her lungs and taking antibiotics.
When they got rid of the preumonia, they operated and replaced the ball in her hip. She was getting better, so they started taking out the tube for short periods and also got her up on her feet for a short time.
When they completly had the tube out, she developted pneumonia again and is gong back on the vintilator again.
Thats where we're at now.
