Linda Cushing's recent posting of Hall Marriages in Maryland got me started, and I would like to bring your attention to other good sources by the same compiler Robert Barnes (I think) 1. Baltimore County Families, 1659-1759, Robert Barnes, Genealogical Publishing Co. Inc --- Great source, Has sq. John, his father Joshua, and another John Possibly Joshua's father or older brother. 2. Baltimore County Maryland, Deed Abstracts, 1659-1750, Robert Barnes, Genealogical Publishing Co. Inc. 3. Maryland Marriages, 1634-1777, Robert Barnes, Genealogical Publishing Co. Inc. --- This seems to be Linda's source. Reference 1 was also a goldmine for my maternal line , Ashmore. I can't help but brag. This line descends, from John Ashmore, apparently an indentured servent, who arrived on th Ark or the Dove in 1634. He was one of the original immigrants sent by Lord Baltimore to establish the Maryland Colony.
