The Joshua Hall Plantation house was built in 1852. The house has not been lived in for many years and is fading fast.

The Joshua Hall Planation
Hi,
Can you specify which Joshua Hall this plantation belonged to? Squire John Hall's father, Joshua Hall, lived and died in Baltimore and Reverend Joshua Hall lived his later years and died in Cowee in Macon, North Carolina. I am not knowledgeable about other decendents named Joshua.
Thanks so much.

The Joshua Hall Plantation
I checked my family tree on Ancestry.com to see if I could find this Joshua Hall in Montford Cove. I am a descendant of Elijah Hall (1773 - 1867) and Elizabeth Morrison, and I have some ancestors from the Montford Cove area (Ledbetters). Joshua Hall (1827 - 1906) was the son of Micajah Hall (1799 - 1892) who was the son of Rev Joshua Hall. You can find him on the 1850 census in Montford Cove (McDowell County) living with his parents, Micajah and Nancy Wilkerson Hall. I ASSUME this is the owner of the plantation in the photo.
