Thank you for finding this. I have Abraham Denton White, brother to Susannah White Hall, born 24 April 1790, married to Elizabeth Douglass 24 Feb 1820. Elizabeth was born 4 Apr 1803 in Knox Co., TN and died 5 Jan 1837. Abraham Denton (3+ yrs. old when father died) was named for a legendary North Carolina Revolutionary War Regulator, Abraham Denton. John Hall Jr.(Dickson Co. TN) named a Abraham in his will to get a horse, bridle and saddle worth a hundred dollars. I suspect without proof that one of his married daughters had a son named Abraham, from mama Suzannah's brother? I have always wondered where Martha Douglass Hall, daughter of Joseph White Hall, got her middle name. I suppose it came from the White side of the family, Uncle Abraham's wife's maiden name. I also am curious about the Martha Douglass that witnessed John Hall Jr. (TN) will. It would be interesting to find that mystery, as well. Just thinking out loud.
