I'm looking for information on the family of Joseph White Hall, s/o John and Susanna White Hall. He was named as a son in John's 1822 will in Dickson Co, TN. Joseph was married 7 Apr 1819 in Clarke Co, AL to Alvira Pugh, born in 1801 in Wilkes Co, GA, died in 1864 in Greene Co, AL Alvira was a daughter of Elijah and Ruth De St. Julien Pugh. Elijah was born in 1760 in NC and died in 1824 in Clarke Co, AL. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Don

I have uncovered pretty strong evidence that Mary V. (21) who is in Lauderdale County, MS with Flavalia Hall, Berriman (21) and Isaac A. (5) in the 1860 Census, is indeed Berryman’s wife.
Also, It looks like Berryman didn't make it through the war. Now if there is anybody here who doesn't know which war the war is, I mean THAT WAR!
See my notes On Mary V. Hall in my file cabinet.

I have posted a revision of my Notes on David Hall, to reflect information contained in my later report, "Notes on Mary V. O'Neal Hall" see my file cabinet entries. Unfortunately, in posting this revisions, I lost the comments. No offense intended.

I don't think Danna Gibson's book is published yet but you can see the extent of her research from this posting in the File Cabinet.
If you are interested in her book, you can get her email address from the Hall message boards.
